Responsibilities:
- Lead US strategy and execution for Friedreich Ataxia (FA) as US Head and Brand Lead; oversee continued launch of a first and only medicine for FA.
- Develop and own strategic US brand plan, creative campaigns, and message development; ensure consistent field messaging and cross-functional alignment; monitor execution and escalate risks.
- Contribute to cross-functional Rare Disease strategy; understand pricing and reimbursement dynamics and develop recommendations to address market challenges.
- Build and lead a best-in-class Rare Disease marketing team (4β5); set priorities; partner with stakeholders across patient finding, market awareness, and sales execution.
- Partner with Finance to develop goals/forecasts, measure results, evaluate opportunities, and track brand performance metrics; ensure programs/campaigns execute on time and within budget.
- Drive sales force effectiveness tools/programs; conduct competitive assessments with Business Intelligence; ensure strong ROI.
- Build Rare Disease capabilities across patient finding, social/omnichannel, AI, advocacy, access, and high-touch patient support.
Required / Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree required; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years pharma/biotech commercial experience; 7+ years marketing experience (at least 2 years in US market).
- Experience working in rare diseases.
- Experience managing large P&Ls.
- Leadership ability to influence without authority; proven track record leading strong teams.
- Strong project/vendor management and fiscal/resource allocation.
