Role Overview:
Sr. Director, Commercial Technology Business Engagement Leader β Kidney & Patient Services, responsible for executing and operationalizing commercial technology capabilities supporting the North America Kidney Business Unit and the Patient Services Program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary technology partner to Kidney Business Unit and Patient Services leaders; translate business priorities into executable technology and AI plans.
- Maintain expertise in Kidney go-to-market models, patient access/support workflows, and operational requirements.
- Shape technology delivery plans, sequencing, and dependencies for business planning cycles.
- Own Kidney and Patient Services technology roadmaps; ensure launch readiness and in-market optimization.
- Lead delivery across programs/enhancements/releases; ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance.
- Manage intake, prioritization, and backlog execution with Product, Platform, and Data teams.
- Own run-state performance (incident, change, release, service management); establish governance for demand/release planning and risk escalation.
- Ensure adherence to DTE lifecycle/validation and change management standards.
- Partner to implement/scale approved AI and analytics use cases; drive adoption via workflow integration, training, and change management; deploy with privacy/security/promotional compliance guardrails.
- Coordinate across DTE teams and Information Security; manage vendors/managed service partners and track performance/SLAs.
- Lead onshore/offshore resources; manage allocated budgets; develop capability in Agile delivery and regulated commercial operations.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience supporting US commercial and/or patient services functions in biopharma/life sciences during launch phase.
- Hands-on delivery/operation of commercial platforms (Salesforce CRM, Veeva, digital engagement, patient services tech).
- Working knowledge of data platforms and AI/analytics enablement (implementation/adoption).
- Lead complex delivery portfolios in a matrixed, regulated environment.
- Experience managing offshore/managed service delivery models.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree required (technology-related preferred).
- 12β15+ years progressive technology experience; senior delivery/domain leadership.
- 5+ years supporting US Commercial and/or Patient Services technology domains.
- US commercial launch or major indication expansion preferred.
Compensation/Benefits & Flex:
- Pay range: $228,000β$342,000; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
