Senior Director, Integrated HCP Engagement

Responsibilities
- Define and lead a coordinated, scalable HCP engagement strategy connecting Field Medical interactions, live/virtual educational programming, and congress planning/follow-up.
- Expand scientific exchange via virtual/asynchronous engagement and more personalized educational content based on HCP needs/roles.
- Establish cross-team ways of working for consistent execution; evolve from reactive to intentional, strategic engagement.
- QED: Expand/diversify expert network beyond core KOLs; build relationships with emerging thought leaders/centers of excellence; extend beyond traditional 1:1 while maintaining rigor; integrate congress with ongoing engagement; ensure consistent scientific narrative; implement insight capture/synthesis.
- Calcilytix: Build expert engagement infrastructure (KOLs/specialized centers, cross-functional planning); develop referrer education strategy (PCPs, pediatricians, ER physicians, community endocrinologists) with tailored content (disease recognition, diagnostic pathways, appropriate referral); deliver via in-person/virtual/scalable formats; define reach/engagement/impact metrics.
- Partner cross-functionally with HQ Medical Directors, Field Medical/MSL leadership, Scientific Communications, Clinical Development, and others; align priorities/content/execution; influence without authority.

Qualifications
- MD/PhD/PharmD (or equivalent) with 12+ years’ experience, including leadership in Medical Affairs and/or clinical development (biotech/pharma).
- Rare disease and/or endocrinology experience; skeletal dysplasia experience preferred.
- Proven ability to build and evolve engagement strategies; develop educational/scientific engagement programs; strong matrix collaboration.
- Strategic communication skills; knowledge of regulatory/compliance frameworks; high ownership/accountability; translate complex science into actionable plans.

Work
- Hybrid (San Francisco office 2–3x/week) or US remote with periodic office visits; travel up to 40–50% (congresses/KOLs/advisory boards/internal meetings).
