Role Summary

Senior Director, Insights & Analytics (I&A) - Pulmonology at Regeneron. Oversees a high-performing I&A team to generate actionable insights from diverse sources, advising leadership and partnering with Pulmonology to drive business decisions and talent development within CSI&A I&A (Immunology).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the I&A Pulmonology team in providing business analytics, customer insights and competitive intelligence to address all commercialization needs
  • Set the strategic I&A direction that aligns with overarching Pulmonology priorities and helps drive launch excellence
  • Foster innovative solutions and a design-thinking approach aligned with strategies for the pulmonology business
  • Develop people from both a functional skills and leadership perspective, with the goal of growing internal talent
  • Assess and implement novel methodologies and frameworks to garner meaningful insights to inform business decisions and enhance brand differentiation and impact
  • Lead efforts to identify and crystalize insights that inform strategic plans for Pulmonology
  • Collaborate with the Pulmonology CBU and senior leadership to identify, predict and inform business decisions relating to the competitive outlook for Pulmonology and any pipeline Immunology (Pulmonology) medicines
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with CBU stakeholders; ensure insight generation and feedback are embraced; balance project rigor, timelines, and influence
  • Coordinate alignment with Alliance counterparts on insights and analytics agendas
  • Work with CSI&A leaders to standardize adoption of capabilities across I&A (marketing mix, promotional optimization, data science, market structure analysis, modeling, ML/AI)
  • Proactively communicate with Pulmonology CBUs and provide strategic recommendations and insights, plus anticipated future needs
  • Construct and deliver integrated business reviews and I&A overviews with Pulmonology and CSI&A leadership

Qualifications

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree (masters preferred) with 15+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience; prior experience with market-leading brands; immunology experience desired
  • Functional expertise in business analytics, HCP consumer/patient insights, primary research methods, analog forecast development and competitive intelligence
  • Experience managing I&A groups with analytics, HCP consumer/patient insights, market access analytics, and competitive intelligence
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory environment related to pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercialization
  • Knowledge of data industry standards
  • Ability to influence, communicate and negotiate across management levels
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently against deadlines
  • Experience balancing project rigor and timeliness in I&A initiatives
  • Strategy-to-execution thinking with hands-on implementation of large initiatives
  • Expertise in data visualization and data storytelling
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills; ability to resolve conflict and drive consensus
  • Strong organizational, project management, influencing and change management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently while meeting deadlines
  • Prior experience in an Alliance partnership is preferred
