Role Summary
Senior Director, Insights & Analytics (I&A) - Dermatology at Regeneron. Oversees a high-performing I&A team to generate actionable insights from diverse sources, informing business decisions and supporting Dermatology priorities and launches. Partners with the VP of Dermatology and leads talent development within the CSI&A (Immunology) team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the I&A Dermatology team in providing business analytics, customer insights and competitive intelligence to address all commercialization needs
- Set the strategic I&A direction that aligns with overarching Dermatology priorities and helps drive launch excellence
- Foster innovative solutions and a design-thinking approach aligned with strategies for the dermatology business
- Develop people from both a functional skills and leadership perspective, with the goal of growing internal talent
- Assess and implement novel methodologies and frameworks to garner meaningful insights to inform business decisions and enhance brand differentiation and impact
- Lead efforts to identify and crystalize insights that inform strategic plans for Dermatology
- Collaborate with the Dermatology CBU and senior leadership to identify, predict and inform business decisions relating to the competitive outlook for Dermatology
- Develop and maintain a mutually beneficial partnership with CBU stakeholders; balance project rigor, timelines and influence
- Coordinate alignment with Alliance counterparts and stakeholders on all insights and analytics agendas
- Work with CSI&A leaders to standardize adoption of capabilities across I&A
- Proactively communicate with the Dermatology CBUs and provide strategic recommendations and insights, plus anticipated future needs
- Construct and deliver integrated business reviews and I&A summary overviews with leadership from Dermatology and CSI&A
Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) with 15+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience, in roles of increasing accountability; prior experience with market-leading brands required; immunology-specific experience desired
- 15+ years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in Commercial roles with increasing responsibilities
- Functional expertise in business analytics, HCP consumer/patient insights, primary research methods, analog forecast development and competitive intelligence
- Prior experience managing I&A groups with responsibility for analytics, HCP consumer/patient insights, market access analytics, and competitive intelligence
- Knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to commercialization in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
- Knowledge of data industry standards
- Proven ability to influence, communicate and negotiate with all levels of management across functional and business unit boundaries
- Extensive experience managing multiple projects concurrently against stringent deadlines
- Experience balancing project rigor and timeliness in I&A initiatives
- Ability to think strategically to execution with hands-on experience in large cross-functional initiatives
- Expertise in data visualization and data storytelling
- Strong interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills; ability to resolve conflict and drive consensus across departments
- Strong organizational, project management, influencing and change management skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently, meeting stringent deadlines
- Preferred: experience working in an Alliance partnership
