Key Accountabilities
- Act as the delegate for the Global CIO as required, including participation in executive forums, governance committees, audits, and senior stakeholder engagements.
- Develop and execute the information technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and deliver application roadmaps for enterprise systems.
- Provide leadership across global IT teams to ensure consistent execution of strategy, standards, and operating models.
- Lead and govern major enterprise applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, clinical systems, global platform upgrades).
- Support portfolio governance, sequencing, and dependency management across the enterprise landscape.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
- Own and deliver risk management plans for enterprise applications.
- Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Negotiate and maintain relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
Education and Experience / Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in enterprise IT roles (e.g., Deputy CIO, Senior Director IT, Head of Enterprise Applications).
- Demonstrated ownership of enterprise application portfolios in complex, global organizations.
- Strong background in business relationship management at executive/senior leadership levels.
- Proven ability to operate in regulated environments.
- Experience leading globally distributed teams and vendor ecosystems.
- Strong financial, governance, and delivery management capability.
- Bachelorβs degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years in IT leadership roles with progressive responsibility.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
