Senior Director, Immunology Early Development Strategy & Innovation

Role: Senior scientific leader responsible for immunology early development strategy, external innovation, and portfolio management at Biogen. Responsibilities: shape research-to-development transitions, guide early clinical development, evaluate external opportunities, and influence portfolio decisions; act as senior advisor to the Vice President; foster cross-functional collaborations and mentor colleagues; ensure regulatory and compliance standards are met. Requirements: MD, PhD, or PharmD with 15+ years in biotech/pharma drug development; extensive experience in immunology, immune-mediated diseases, and multiple therapeutic modalities; proven leadership in research-to-clinical translation and early development milestones; experience in external partnerships, BD, or venture investing.
