Senior Director, Immunology Data & AI Systems

Role: Senior Director, Immunology Data & AI Systems, leading efforts to accelerate immunology R&D through advanced data products and AI applications. Responsibilities include managing a team to develop scalable data assets across discovery, translational, clinical, and real-world evidence, ensuring integration into enterprise ecosystems, and leading immunology-focused ontology development. The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams in R&D Data Science and Digital Health, and engaging with senior stakeholders to drive adoption and impact. Qualifications: PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, Biomedical Engineering, or related, with 10+ years industry experience, demonstrating expertise with high-dimensional immunology datasets (omics, imaging, clinical trials, RWE) and full lifecycle data solutions. Leadership experience in matrixed organizations and knowledge of data products, standards (e.g., FHIR, CDISC), and governance are essential. Preferred: experience in pharmaceuticals or biotech, familiarity with immunology ontologies, and influencing complex organizations. The position is based onsite in Spring House PA, Cambridge MA, Titusville NJ, Raritan NJ, or San Diego CA, with occasional travel. Focus areas include AI-driven data solutions to support immunology research pipelines, improving discovery, evidence generation, and data interoperability to enhance therapeutic development.
