Role Summary

The Senior Director, Head of U.S. HCP Marketing for TPIP will shape and execute the professional marketing strategy to ensure successful U.S. launch readiness and long-term adoption for PH-ILD, IPF, and PPF. This role focuses on the U.S. market, driving HCP engagement, advancing scientific education, and developing tailored communications for fibrosing ILDs, while building a high-performing brand team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the professional brand strategy for TPIP in PH-ILD, IPF, and PPF, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market frameworks tailored to HCPs treating fibrosing ILDs.
  • Lead campaign development to engage pulmonologists, ILD specialists, and community physicians.
  • Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure scientific and clinical insights inform HCP strategies.
  • Lead development and implementation of tactical plans for health care professionals
  • Build and implement a clear, concise value proposition, with supporting messaging, for health care professionals to be delivered through a comprehensive launch plan
  • Support franchise launch readiness by representing the brand in go-to-market and organizational design builds
  • Build and prepare brand strategy with future indications in mind
  • Actively participate and represent Brand in various cross-functional meetings (ie. Data Governance, Supply, Global Brand Strategy Team etc)
  • Build a robust medical education plan for both disease awareness and post-launch
  • Establish strong relationships and develop collaborative areas of shared interest with key stakeholders, including HCP experts and professional societies
  • Work closely with the financial business partner to identify and manage HCP resources
  • Be a product champion and maintain knowledge of therapy areas
  • Ensure a culture of compliance for the commercial team

Launch Planning & Readiness

  • Lead integrated U.S. launch readiness for HCP and payer channels in PH-ILD, IPF, and PPF.
  • Oversee tactical planning, sequencing, KPIs, and execution to support TPIP adoption at launch.
  • Partner with global and regional colleagues to ensure professional and payer strategies are locally relevant while globally aligned.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Effectiveness to ensure alignment of U.S. HCP activities with field execution.
  • Partner with Agency of Record and cross-functional partners, including ex-US colleagues
  • Work closely with Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Commercial Operations team members to align and compliantly execute key tactical activities
  • Collaborate with Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Clinical colleagues to ensure compliant and integrated professional and payer campaigns.
  • Work with Advocacy, Corporate Communications, and Investor Relations to ensure consistent external messaging with professional and payer audiences.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing teams in Europe and Japan to align and harmonize on an integrated overarching brand strategy, with tactical execution tailored to each geography.

Franchise Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Senior Director, HCP Marketing Lead (PAH) to ensure alignment and consistency across indications.
  • Contribute to the development of the overarching TPIP franchise strategy by incorporating HCP and payer perspectives for fibrosing ILDs.
  • Support cross-indication planning and coordination to maximize the impact of TPIP across PH-ILD, IPF, PPF, and PAH.

Market, Competitive, and Customer Insights

  • Monitor market trends, payer policies, and competitive dynamics across fibrosing ILDs.
  • Integrate HCP and payer insights to refine marketing strategies and inform lifecycle planning.
  • Support new indication and formulation strategies for TPIP with a focus on professional adoption and payer access.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
  • 10–12+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, with at least 8 years in HCP, payer, or market access marketing roles.
  • Proven success in developing and executing launch strategies targeting HCP audiences in specialty or rare disease markets.
  • Experience in PAH, cardiopulmonary, or respiratory therapeutic areas preferred.
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills, with a track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, including experience preparing executive-level updates.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills.
  • Experience as a people manager preferred with track record of developing talent.
  • Proven ability to develop exceptional relationships and have an impact on or appropriately influence others
  • Experience working with global colleagues preferred
  • Experience working in a franchise with multiple brands preferred
  • Experience working in a start-up and/or mid-cap sized company highly desired
  • Orphan or rare disease experience (pulmonary preferred) and/or an authentic commitment to working closely with patient community preferred
  • Familiarity/experience with regulatory and pharmaceutical legal promotional review processes
  • A track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies and tactics that have delivered strong commercial results.
  • Successful track record of U.S. product launch experience also preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional, high-performance teams
  • Highly analytical and strategic with demonstration to translate global strategies into local initiatives
  • Highly developed organizational and prioritization skills and capability
  • Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Individuals must demonstrate the ability to interact successfully in a dynamic and culturally diverse workplace.

Location & Travel

Location: Bridgewater, NJ HQ with hybrid flexibility or Purposeful Remote with onsite expectations in Bridgewater. Up to 30% travel (domestic and international).
