Senior Director, Head of Clinical Development Learning & Center of Excellence

Role: Senior Director, Head of Clinical Development Learning & CoE, overseeing global clinical capability development, organizational learning, and integration across therapeutic areas. Responsibilities: lead a multidisciplinary team, define strategic vision, manage budgets and resources, and create multi-year capability roadmaps; oversee clinical data intelligence and medical monitoring innovation; align training programs with clinical scientific needs; collaborate with global standards bodies and enterprise learning functions; foster cross-functional collaboration between Clinical Scientists and Directors; and develop talent through coaching and mentoring. Requirements: PhD, PharmD, or Master's in Life/Health Sciences with 8+ or 12+ years relevant experience, including at least 5 years as a Clinical Scientist in pharma/clinical development; proven leadership in capability building, instructional design, and organizational effectiveness; deep expertise in clinical trial design, medical data review, and digital tools; strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred: coaching certifications, curriculum design expertise, and 3-5 years managing leaders.
