Position Summary
The Senior Director, HCP Marketing leads and drives the enterprise HCP marketing strategy and execution to support brand commercialization across all channels.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own and drive enterprise-level HCP brand strategy; ensure alignment across community sales, LTC, and non-personal promotion.
- Lead cross-functional brand planning with Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Commercial Operations.
- Evolve brand strategy and messaging using clinical data, market insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Provide strategic oversight to the HCP marketing team (including leading/developing team members).
- Own peer-to-peer strategy and execution for healthcare professional engagement.
- Lead integrated marketing across channels (HCP promotion, digital strategy, media planning, field enablement).
- Partner with Sales leadership to align marketing strategy with field execution and performance objectives.
- Oversee planning/execution of commercial initiatives (conventions, exhibits, strategic marketing programs).
- Build/manage KOL relationships and lead KOL engagement strategy.
- Lead advisory board strategy and execution with Medical Affairs.
- Oversee performance measurement and optimization of marketing activities.
- Manage significant HCP marketing budget.
- Identify market opportunities and competitive threats; adjust strategy proactively.
- Ensure compliance with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Lead agency strategy and management.
Education/Experience (Required)
- Bachelorβs degree in marketing/healthcare/business administration or related field; MBA preferred.
- 12+ years progressive pharmaceutical/biotech marketing experience; leadership experience required (leading teams and/or complex cross-functional initiatives).
Preferred
- Neurology or specialty therapeutic experience.
- Enterprise-level strategic experience in commercial organizations.
