Senior Group Director, Quantitative Pharmacology
Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor individual contributing scientists in one or more therapeutic focus areas.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring within the function and across the organization.
- Perform staff performance management and provide training/guidance.
- Use advanced PK/PD expertise and strategic leadership to develop and implement analyses supporting R&D projects.
- Take accountability for PK/PD evaluation of a portfolio of products/projects, including highly complex, broad-scope projects.
- Identify opportunities for process/procedural and product/service improvements.
- Solve unique and complex problems with broad business impact.
Qualifications (must have):
- 10+ years industry experience (Ph.D.) or 12+ years (M.S.) in modeling and simulation, PK/PD, systems pharmacology, and quantitative drug development strategies.
- Hands-on use of quantitative tools/systems and strong publication record.
- Excellent written and oral interpersonal/communication skills; ability to communicate complex information succinctly.
- Strong collaboration skills; build alliances and influence cross-functional/multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to handle all types of projects; leverage higher-level staff for technical input/brainstorming.
- Proven experience interacting with regulatory agencies without supervision; develop regulatory strategy within the company.
