Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of Global Pricing Analytics to sustain value optimization for the Vertex portfolio.
- Assess current global pricing data infrastructure; recommend future requirements.
- Develop Global Pricing Analytics deliverables to guide decision-making and performance assessments across disease areas and regions.
- Build reporting infrastructure integrating multiple data sources and automating insight delivery (including realized prices).
- Serve as GVAS subject matter expert on Advanced Analytics, including appropriate AI pilots, capabilities, and training.
- Oversee Global Price Governance: update guidance documents (audit standards, templates, regional training); ensure compliance with Global Price Policies and manage annual review for price floors.
- Develop disease-specific performance analytics (negotiation outcomes and business results vs. pre-deal analysis).
- Lead pricing capability development (lifecycle pricing, launch sequencing, risk assessment) with stakeholders.
- Lead P&MA global horizon scanning and internal knowledge management.
- Partner with US/International Market Access, GVAS, Global Commercial Strategy, Finance, and DTE to support GPAG deliverables.

Experience & Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree (life sciences preferred); postgraduate preferred.
- 12+ years in biotechnology/pharma; 5+ years supervisory/management preferred.
- Working knowledge of US and/or ex-US pricing environment.
- Strong quantitative/analytical skills applying pricing & reimbursement principles.
- Knowledge of Market Access data sets (MMIT, IQVIA, Pricing/GTN (Model-N), Real-World Data).
- Experience supporting complex analytics with data scientists.
- Proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI; Snowflake/data lake knowledge a plus.
- Excellent written/oral communication; strong cross-functional leadership across geographies.
- Commercialization and drug development experience.

Pay Range
- $232,000 - $348,000; eligible for annual bonus and annual equity awards.
