Clinical Research and Development
Position Objectives:
- Lead overarching Global Program(s); define asset strategy and manage development and LCM activities for an asset from discovery to marketplace.
- Drive regulatory approval, launch, and global patient access; partner cross-functionally to maximize asset value.
- Serve as single leader of the Global Program Team (GPT); provide matrix leadership, ensure deliverables meet scope/objectives, budget, and timelines.
- Lead budget planning with the Global Program Manager; monitor expenditures and manage variance to meet financial objectives.
- Report program progress, risks/issues, and changes in scope/budget/timelines to governance as needed.
- Manage several assets; evaluate opportunities and feasibility studies for potential global programs.

Program Strategy, Planning & Execution:
- Set program vision, strategy, goals, priorities, long-term plans, and schedules.
- Provide strategic/process/operational leadership to multiple GPTs and functions across discovery-to-commercialization and LCM.
- Link functional sub-teams (Clinical, Commercial, CMC, etc.) under the Enterprise GPT Playbook to ensure transparency and execution.
- Lead change management for the GPT; develop/maintain KPI tracking systems/databases.

Education/Experience (Required):
- Advanced scientific degree (MD/PhD/PharmD) or MBA.
- 10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience (R&D and commercial operations).
- 8+ years interdisciplinary global experience with complex projects, including strategy/execution and matrix team management.

Preferred:
- Advanced degree; broad enterprise orientation.
- Managed multiple NME global approvals.

Skills/Knowledge:
- Passion for developing others into future leaders.

Certifications:
- PMI Project Management Professional (desired).
