Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Director Global Procurement, Facilities, Capital, and Logistics to lead the definition and implementation of the Global Facilities, Capital, and Logistics Category strategy to serve global and regional business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to guide discussions on Facilities, Capital, and Logistics categories and ensure category priorities are aligned with procurement management.

Responsibilities

  • Leads negotiations, supplier management activities, and stakeholder engagement for the Facilities, Capital, and Logistics Category as assigned.
  • Works independently to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency gains from category management activities.
  • Represents Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the Facilities, Capital, and Logistics categories with short- and long-term impact on the organization’s success, efficiency, growth, and results.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization and leverages this knowledge to drive improvements aligned with corporate priorities.
  • Leads category activities to ensure compliance with appropriate GxPs and other applicable regulations.
  • Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with the Law department aligned with Regeneron’s priorities and business requirements.
  • Provides coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports and models leadership for the organization.
  • Uses data to drive decision-making for successful category projects.

Qualifications

  • Progressive experience in procurement, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharma.
  • 15+ years of experience in relevant functions or industries. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of leading cross-functional teams to drive results in Facilities, Capital, and Logistics categories or related categories through effective sourcing, negotiations, contracting, and supplier relationship management.

Skills

  • Working knowledge of sourcing contracting tools, ERPs, and eRFx systems (e.g., Oracle, Zycus, Ariba).
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for communicating, presenting, and analyzing data.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study; progressive procurement experience, preferably including substantial experience in Pharma/BioPharma.
