Senior Director, Global Portfolio Strategy, GU Oncology
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Lead Global GU commercial strategy integration across bladder and prostate DAS and evolving GU market/landscape dynamics.
- Inform near- and long-term decision making; provide visibility into oncology portfolio implications and future capability planning to realize optimal DAS strategy.
- Lead strategic GU DAS projects with accountability for delivery and business impact (e.g., co-positioning, innovative go-to-market strategies, customer engagement, capability uplift).
- Independently oversee multiple projects; contribute to and independently develop business strategies in a highly matrixed organization.
- Collaborate with GU commercial leaders and R&D (early/late development) to shape GU portfolio vision and support portfolio prioritization decisions.
- Shape and drive core business cycle deliverables for GU DAS (annual BP, G&Os, resource planning/optimization) and provide updates to senior executives.
- Provide cross-functional matrix leadership with global/regional partners to ensure alignment and navigate ambiguity.
- Engage external stakeholders including Key Opinion Leaders and Patient Opinion Leaders.
- Attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent; be an ambassador for GCSO.
- Build prostate & GU team culture and shape next-generation commercial leaders.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree required; MS/MBA preferred.
- 12+ years progressive biotech/pharmaceutical/relevant experience.
- Strong business acumen/value-stream experience.
- Strong problem-solving; ability to design/structure/lead projects.
- Understanding of major pharmaceutical trends/dynamics.
- Ability to build credibility with senior leaders.
- Experience working across functional and geographic boundaries.
- Track record in ambiguous/complex environments.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently to drive alignment/decision-making.
Preferred Knowledge
- Oncology companion diagnostics experience.
- Advanced degree (MBA/MS); oncology background.
- Previous P&L management; consulting and global strategic implementation.
- Driving organizational change and capability development.
