Role: Senior Director, Global Pharmacovigilance (Safety Physician) at Immunocore, leading global medical safety strategies for biologic products across development and post-market phases. Responsibilities: develop and execute benefit–risk assessments, oversee signal detection and safety evaluations from clinical, post-marketing, and real-world data; design and interpret active safety surveillance and epidemiology studies; direct safety teams and ensure quality of safety reports and regulatory submissions; provide medical safety leadership in regulatory interactions and labelling negotiations; and drive continuous PV process improvements. Requirements: MD or DO with 5+ years pharmacovigilance experience, including clinical practice; expertise in biologic safety, signal detection, benefit–risk assessment, regulatory safety standards (FDA, EMA); experience in aggregate safety reports (DSURs, PSURs/PBRERs), pharmacovigilance systems, and active safety studies; strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills. Preferred: advanced degree (PhD, MPH), board certification, experience with global product launches, and contributions to scientific publications. High-Value: biologics, immune-oncology or infectious disease indications, late-stage development (Ph1-3), global regulatory interactions, pharmacovigilance leadership, and complex risk management.
