Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs (GDMA) - Pulmonary Hypertension

Role Summary:
- Global Senior Director Medical Affairs (GDMA) in Value & Implementation (V&I) organization; responsible for driving the Global Medical and Scientific Affairs (GMSA) portion for assigned Therapeutic Areas (TAs), with a focus on the U.S. and support for the rest of world.
Responsibilities:
- Drive execution of the annual V&I plan with medical affairs colleagues across key countries/regions.
- Act as SME/connector across TAs; translate global scientific platforms into Medical Value Narratives (MVNs); align with country stakeholders to support local data generation, congress planning, and advisory boards.
- Serve as medical representative within Product Development sub-teams; communicate key information to EDMA, RSL, RDMA, US DMA, and PASLs.
- Partner with Outcomes Research, Policy, Commercial, and Market Access to identify/resolve opportunities and barriers.
- Bridge global strategy and local execution for Big Country Markets (U.S., China, Japan); integrate country insights into global plans.
- Consolidate actionable medical insights; build stakeholder networks; monitor external environment with competitive intelligence.
- Organize expert-input events (advisory boards/forums), global symposia/medical education meetings; support local study concepts/protocols and review Investigator-Initiated Studies.
- Manage patient support/educational/risk management programs; champion Ways of Working; manage assigned budget (3% variance).
Required Qualifications:
- M.D., Ph.D., or Pharm.D. (M.D. preferred); recognized expertise in Pulmonary Hypertension.
- 5+ years pulmonary hypertension experience.
- Experience in country/region or global medical affairs or clinical development.
- Strong prioritization/decision-making; strategic thinking; matrix collaboration; excellent communication/analytics and project management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years regional medical affairs (e.g., Regional Director Medical Affairs).
- Customer expertise in stakeholder scientific leadership (payers, public groups, government, medical organizations).
