Responsibilities:
- Establish, integrate, and implement a comprehensive Union Engagement Strategy across Lilly.
- Develop meaningful, mutually beneficial relationships with Unions, other employers, and relevant community organizations in line with business objectives to address patient needs.
- Serve as lead for policy and programmatic priorities; align external stakeholder strategies (union engagement, third-party advocacy, federal/state access efforts, and support for manufacturing) to Lilly priorities.
- Ensure alignment and collaboration with Lilly cross-functional colleagues (Government Affairs, Corporate Affairs, Manufacturing, Value & Access (Employer), Innovation Readiness, and Consumer).
- Prioritize, build, and maintain trust-based relationships with Unions and related stakeholders.
- Represent Union/patient voice with Lilly colleagues; represent Lilly position with partner groups.
- Maintain understanding of federal, manufacturing, employer, and CMH objectives and the external environment.
- Lead stakeholder mapping and generate insights to identify key relationship and project opportunities; develop engagement plans.
- Be a Lilly ambassador with Union/external stakeholders.

Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 15 years of experience in construction project management or procurement, labor relations, advocacy, or related fields.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time; Lilly does not sponsor work authorization/visas.

Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Ability to make complex decisions; manage issues/crises.
- Proven influence with senior management.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale, high-risk/complexity programs.
- Strong business acumen and innovative thinking.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations up to CEO/Executive Committee level.
- Strong record integrating Union/stakeholder voices into strategic planning; high EQ; comfortable working with diverse senior leadership.

Additional Information:
- Domestic travel ~20%; occasional weekend travel; remote work possible.
