Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to delivery of high-quality HEOR evidence and tools for the early Neurology pipeline under the guidance of the Global HEVA Neurology Team Lead.
- Deliver a robust HEVA evidence strategy for assets in development for Alzheimer’s, wet and dry AMD, and other neurodegenerative conditions; input into Neurology disease area strategies.
- Assist the Neurology Team Lead in mentoring more junior members.
- Drive measurable business impact through compliant HEVA tactics supporting commercial objectives and market access goals.
- Develop and execute comprehensive global HEVA strategies for the early neurology portfolio; partner with commercial teams to translate HEVA insights into actionable business strategies.
- Support team leadership through mentoring/development and lead/participate in above-therapeutic-area initiatives with a growth and continuous improvement mindset.
- Build cross-functional relationships to ensure pricing and access decisions align with demonstrable value; align with the US HEVA team to include US insights in global plans.
- Present to senior leadership; communicate complex health economics concepts and strategic recommendations clearly; influence business decisions via data-driven HEVA recommendations.
- Oversee design, execution, and publication of high-quality health economics and outcomes research; develop real-world evidence strategies for lifecycle management.
- Ensure scientific rigor and regulatory compliance; support identification of early-pipeline focus areas via up-to-date epidemiology; execute HEVA tactics to further HEOR evidence dissemination and proactive/promotional use.
- Build external relationships (payers, HTA bodies, academic institutions); represent Sanofi at conferences; collaborate with research partners/KOLs; engage regulators and health authorities on HEOR matters.
About You (Qualifications/Skills)
- 10+ years in health economics, outcomes research, or related field.
- Required: Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, or equivalent) in health economics, epidemiology, public health, economics, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in health economic modeling, real-world evidence generation, evidence synthesis, and outcomes research.
- Proven ability to manage high-complexity assets/therapeutic areas with unique evidence needs.
- Deep understanding of global HTA and payer decision-making frameworks.
- Expert knowledge of RWE regulatory guidance (FDA/EMA) and US vs rest-of-world promotional guidance differences.
- Proven track record supporting market access/reimbursement via HEVA evidence and influencing senior cross-functional decisions.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across senior levels/functions.
- Neurology experience required.
- Strong English communication (written/verbal); synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Good project management; manage timelines/deliverables and budget.
- Demonstrated AI/digital tool proficiency for HEOR (AI-powered analytics, machine learning for evidence synthesis, digital data management; generative AI/automated analysis to improve efficiency and innovation).
