Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global clinical site contracting, investigator grant pricing, and clinical site payments across the Development portfolio; ensure strategies and performance are fair market value, timely executed, and compliant.
- Establish governance/oversight frameworks, KPIs, and performance expectations; ensure compliance, inspection readiness, and operational excellence with external partners.
- Oversee global contracting activities (models, negotiation strategies, templates/clause libraries, regional execution) and partner with Legal to manage contractual risk.
- Set country/site pricing strategies aligned to market dynamics and regulatory expectations (including anti-kickback, transparency, and disclosure).
- Improve contract cycle times, predictability, site payment performance metrics, and site satisfaction.
- Partner with Finance on forecasting, accruals, and financial reporting.
- Hire, develop, retain talent; set goals; coach; build leadership bench and succession management.
- Drive efficiency, reduce complexity, and enhance scalability.

Minimum Education & Experience:
- BA/BS (14+ yrs) OR MA/MS (12+ yrs) OR JD/PhD (12+ yrs).
- 10+ yrs experience in global clinical site contracting and/or clinical trial financial operations (pricing and payments).
- People leadership experience in a matrixed environment.

Knowledge & Other Requirements:
- Expert biopharma/clinical development knowledge; extensive global contracting, grant pricing/budgeting, and payment operations experience.
- Deep knowledge of global regulatory, compliance, and inspection requirements.
- Strong business/financial/legal acumen; influence senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability leading large matrixed orgs (insourced/outsourced).
- Transformation/standardization/digital enablement; strong communication/negotiation/conflict resolution; coaching; proactive change management; travel as needed.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Salary range: $226,185.00–$292,710.00; may include annual bonus, long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life.
