Role: Senior Director, Global Bioanalysis (DMPK) leading bioanalytical and biomarker strategies for orexin receptor agonist programs for sleep-wake disorders, supporting discovery through clinical development. Responsibilities: oversee global bioanalytical functions, manage CRO/vendor relationships, develop and implement biomarker strategies, lead assay transfer, validation, and data interpretation, and ensure regulatory compliance (GLP/GCP). Manage and mentor international teams, develop budgets, and contribute to portfolio decision-making. Collaborate closely with Discovery, Translational Sciences, Toxicology, PK, and Clinical Pharmacology teams across regions, providing scientific input into INDs and clinical studies. Travel 10-20%, primarily to CROs and external partners. Requirements: Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related discipline; 15+ years in biotech/pharma/CRO environments with leadership experience; extensive expertise in LC-MS/MS with small molecules; strong knowledge of global bioanalytical regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, ICH M10); proven track record managing external vendors and supporting early-stage and clinical-stage programs. Preferred: experience supporting neuropharmacology and sleep disorder therapeutics, global team leadership, and biomarker discovery.
