Senior Director, Early Phase Formulation Development

Role: Senior Director of Early Phase Formulation Development, providing scientific leadership for preformulation and early-stage formulation activities of small molecule degraders. Responsibilities: lead formulation strategies from candidate selection through IND, addressing solubility and bioavailability challenges; design and execute formulation development for preclinical and early clinical stages; oversee external CROs/CDMOs; support CMC regulatory submissions; establish best practices; ensure GMP/regulatory compliance. Requirements: Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related; 15+ years in pharmaceutical industry with proven expertise in early-stage formulation development; strong knowledge of biopharmaceutics, enabling technologies, and oral solid dosage manufacturing; experience advancing small molecule programs through IND; familiarity with GMP, regulatory processes, and external collaborations.
