Senior Director / Director, Oncology Translational Medicine Project Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Translate ADC translational medicine strategy into integrated project plans (scope, milestones, critical paths, dependencies, risks) across biomarkers, diagnostics, and clinical development.
- Monitor progress vs. plan; identify issues/interdependencies; coordinate mitigation.
- Schedule, structure, and run project meetings; manage agendas, pre-reads, minutes, action logs.
- Maintain governance-ready dashboards/status summaries/decision logs for R&D governance and external boards.
- Act as operational interface with internal/external partners (e.g., joint project teams, diagnostic manufacturers) to ensure deliverables/timelines.
- Forecast/track TM resource needs; coordinate relevant budgets; oversee contracts/SOWs.
- Manage risks/issues; ensure readiness for key translational and diagnostic milestones; support regulatory submissions/inspection readiness.
- Coordinate translational data timelines (biomarker, PK/PD, diagnostic); produce insight/status reports and improve processes.
Basic Requirements (minimum)
- Bachelor’s in biological sciences (advanced degree a plus).
- Proven project management in complex matrix environments.
- 8–12+ years oncology drug development experience.
- Experience managing biomarker and/or in-vitro diagnostic development programs.
- Knowledge of drug discovery/development, clinical trial design, Dx development (analytical/clinical validations), and regulatory submissions.
- Hands-on Microsoft Project/Office; remote meeting tools; working understanding of AI tools.
Preferred Requirements
- PMP or PRINCE2; advanced degree.
- Data/AI/RWE experience; strong communication and stakeholder influencing.
