Senior Director, Construction Management

Role: Senior Director of Construction Management leading enterprise-wide construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and fit-outs within lab, office, and clinical spaces. Objectives: deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget; align construction strategies with organizational growth and capital plans. Responsibilities: develop and execute construction programs; oversee project management activities, contractor performance, preconstruction planning, safety, compliance, and financial controls; lead industry best practices like BIM and lean construction; collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners; manage project closeouts and lessons learned; build and develop high-performing teams. Requirements: Bachelor's in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or related; 12+ years in construction management, with 8+ years leading multi-project portfolios; 5+ years managing construction in regulated environments such as healthcare or laboratories. Preferred: Master’s degree; PMP, CCM, or PE certifications; experience with Lean and BIM methodologies; familiarity with digital project management tools; strong financial, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. High-Value: managing complex construction in regulated biopharma or healthcare environments; large-scale projects; cross-disciplinary collaboration; travel up to 25%; working in vivarium environments. Work setup: multiple locations (Burlington, Indianapolis, Durham); some travel required.
