Role: Senior Director of Computational Drug Discovery, leading global teams in Cambridge, USA, and Copenhagen, DK, to develop computational strategies supporting Zealand's multi-modal pipeline (peptides, small molecules, antibodies). Responsibilities: build and mentor a high-caliber team, serve as program or research project leader, contribute to target evaluation and portfolio prioritization, guide candidate progression considering pharmacology and developability, advance AI strategies including MLops and foundation models, foster external collaborations, represent Zealand in scientific forums, and support business development through technical diligence. Requirements: Ph.D. (or equivalent) in computational chemistry, biology, or related life sciences; 10+ years in biopharma R&D; expertise in structure prediction, ligand-based drug design, ADMET/DMPK, and generative modeling; proven leadership in cross-functional, global teams. High-Value: leadership in computational chemistry/biology, multi-modal pipeline support, advanced AI/ML integration, biologics and small molecule modalities, early to late-stage pipeline contribution, focus on in-silico validation and hypothesis prioritization, with a strategic emphasis on innovative computational methods and data principles. Work Setup: leading teams across two sites, hybrid or flexible arrangements likely, with international collaboration.
