Senior Director, Competitive Intelligence Oncology R&D

Role Summary

Senior Director, Competitive Intelligence for AstraZeneca's Oncology R&D. Play a pivotal role in shaping strategy and influencing investment decisions by delivering analysis and insights to Senior Leadership and key partners to ensure a full understanding of the evolving oncology landscape.

Responsibilities

• Own the delivery of competitive analysis with a team of specialists to shape future-proofed therapy area strategies.
• Drive in-depth analysis of clinical and commercial data; generate and communicate critical insights to inform decision-makers.
• Influence strategy through intellectual agility and strong communication, building a network of trusted relationships with diverse partners.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor‚Äôs degree.
• Required: At least 3 years of experience in research/data analysis and fact-based decision-making; oncology/clinical or investment analysis background.
• Required: Strong analytical skills, learning agility, and ability to lead cross-functional teams; clear communicator.
• Required: Resourceful, motivated, decisive, proactive; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-growing organization.
• Preferred: PhD, MD, or MBA.
• Preferred: More than 4+ years of experience with clinical data/analysis; more than 2 years in Oncology; understanding of clinical data, trial design, or regulatory frameworks.
