Avidity is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our growing Commercial team. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to generate critical market insights and deliver data-driven recommendations that support Avidityβs pipeline development, commercialization strategy and long-term business goals for the Neuromuscular and Precision Cardiology franchises.
Build and lead the Commercial Insights & Analytics function, ensuring a data-driven approach to decision-making. Select the best analytics modality, project, etc., customized to the business challenge or opportunity faced. Partner with Insights & Analytics and Marketing to develop and execute primary and secondary market research to assess market landscape, customer segmentation, and brand positioning. Establish a best-in-class competitive intelligence framework to track industry developments, competitor strategies, and potential market threats. Partner with Field Operations, establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting dashboards to monitor launch performance and market trends (across Sales, Marketing, Market Access, HUB and Patient Services, Medical Affairs). Synthesize insights into actionable strategies that inform launch plans, market access, and commercial execution.
Partner with the Forecasting lead to develop short- and long-term commercial forecasts for pipeline assets and launched products, incorporating epidemiology, analogs, and market trends. Lead scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support executive decision-making and financial planning. Partner with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Market Access to ensure demand forecasts align with corporate planning, manufacturing, and payer strategy. Partner with Field Operations to create dynamic KPIs, performance dashboards, and real-time analytics to track launch effectiveness and market penetration.
Partner with Field Force Operations to provide data-driven recommendations to optimize launch strategy, sales force deployment, customer targeting, and marketing effectiveness. Develop segmentation and targeting models for healthcare providers (HCPs), payers, and patients to maximize engagement and adoption. Implement AI/ML and predictive analytics to enhance sales effectiveness, marketing operations, customer engagement, and omnichannel strategy. Partner with IT and AI to prioritize and execute on high impact commercial needs. Partner with Market Access to integrate payer coverage, reimbursement, and pricing dynamics into commercial forecasting.
Serve as a strategic partner and advisor to the VP, Commercial Operations, SVP/GM U.S., CCO, and Strategic Leadership Team (as appropriate) on key commercial decisions. Collaborate with Medical Affairs, R&D, and Regulatory to integrate clinical insights with commercial planning. Work closely with VP, Commercial Operations, US GM, CCO and Investor Relations to support earnings calls, investor presentations, and board-level discussions with data-backed insights. Build and mentor a high-performing insights & analytics team, fostering a culture of strategic thinking and innovation.
The base salary range for this role is $270,000.00 - $285,000.00. The final compensation will be commensurate with such factors as relevant experience, skillset, internal equity and market factors. Avidity offers competitive compensation and benefits, including the opportunity for annual and spot bonuses, stock options and RSUs, and a 401(k) with an employer match.
