Senior Director, Clinical Sciences

Role: Senior Director, Clinical Sciences at Tango Therapeutics, providing leadership and scientific oversight for oncology clinical development programs. Responsibilities: lead and mentor a team of 4–6 Clinical Scientists, actively participate in the design, execution, and analysis of early- and late-stage oncology trials, and ensure scientific rigor in data review and interpretation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Clinical Operations, Biostatistics, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, and Translational Medicine; develop key clinical documents; interpret emerging clinical and biomarker data; contribute to regulatory submissions; establish best practices within Clinical Science; and represent the function in governance and portfolio discussions. Requirements: MD, PhD, PharmD, or MS in a relevant field; minimum of 12 years in clinical science or research, with at least 7 years in oncology; extensive experience with clinical trial design, management, and regulatory guidelines, including GCP; strong analytical skills, proficiency in clinical data interpretation, and excellent communication abilities.
