Role: Senior Director, Clinical Pharmacology (Translational) at Centessa Pharmaceuticals, providing strategic leadership across neuroscience drug development from early to late stages, focusing on CNS exposure, dose optimization, and translational biomarkers. Responsibilities: develop and execute clinical pharmacology strategies; lead model-informed drug development including PK/PD and exposure-response analyses; oversee clinical pharmacology studies (FIH, DDI, biopharmaceutics); author regulatory documents and interact with health authorities; partner with cross-functional teams (DMPK, Clinical Development, Biomarkers, Regulatory); manage CROs and external vendors; mentor pharmacology talent. Qualifications: PhD/MD/PharmD in relevant discipline; 8–12+ years in biopharma with impact in translational science; expertise in PK, PD, modeling tools (NONMEM, Phoenix WinNonlin, SimCyp); experience in early-to-late stage and regulatory submissions; strong understanding of CNS exposure and biomarkers; excellent communication and leadership skills.
