Responsibilities encompass trial design, execution oversight, collaboration with cross-functional teams (regulatory, stats, manufacturing), and engaging external investigators. The role also involves strategic evaluation of preclinical data, supporting business development, and maintaining scientific expertise through conference participation and investigator engagement. Requirements: MD or MD/PhD, 3+ years in clinical medicine, 3-5+ years in industry drug development or biomedical research, with demonstrated success in clinical trial oversight, scientific scholarship, and leadership. Preferred skills include Board Certification in Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, or Hepatology, with specific experience in MASH or metabolic liver diseases, especially Phase 2/3 trials.
