Senior Director, Clinical Development

Role: Senior Director, Clinical Development at a late-stage biopharma focused on psychiatric and neurological therapeutics, including psychedelics. Objectives: Lead design, execution, and oversight of clinical trials, ensuring high-quality data for registration and regulatory submissions. Responsibilities: Provide clinical science leadership, manage study design and implementation, liaise with health authorities, develop regulatory strategies, and oversee safety and benefit/risk assessments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support INDs, CTAs, and clinical reports. Cultivate relationships with thought leaders and investigators, and support regulatory document preparation. Requirements: PhD, MD, PharmD, or PsyD; 8+ years in clinical development, preferably in CNS disorders, with experience in small molecule or psychiatric drug development. Skills include clinical trial strategy, data analysis, regulatory writing, and stakeholder management. Preferred: experience with IND submissions and CNS clinical research, especially in psychiatry or neurology. High-value: CNS focus, late-stage development, regulatory expertise, global trial management, and international travel (~10-20%, potentially more). Work setup: Remote with travel as needed.
