Senior Director, Clinical Development

Role: Senior Director, Clinical Science, supporting Revolution Medicines’ clinical-stage RAS(ON) inhibitor programs. Objectives: lead clinical science strategy, oversee trial design/execution, and contribute to regulatory submissions for oncology indications. Responsibilities: develop and represent the clinical development plan, oversee trial conduct including site selection, patient recruitment, data review, and compliance; mentor team members; build relationships with investigators and regulators; analyze clinical data for program insights; and ensure strategic alignment across functions. Qualifications: PhD, PharmD, or equivalent with 10+ years in clinical drug development, particularly in oncology, biologics, or small molecules targeting RAS-driven cancers. Extensive experience with GCP, ICH, FDA, EMA regulations, protocol design, and trial conduct. Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred: contribution to regulatory submissions, health authority interactions, and clinical development strategy, with experience in investigational new drug (IND) or pivotal studies. High-value specifics: oncology, RAS-targeted therapies, early to late-stage clinical trials, regulatory engagement, and cross-functional team leadership. Location: Redwood City, CA, onsite preferred, with potential for leadership of multiple teams.
