Role: Senior Director of Cell Therapy Partnerships & Strategy in Neurology, responsible for shaping and executing AstraZeneca's global site partnership strategies with a focus on neurology and cell therapy. Responsibilities include developing and managing strategic relationships with key external experts, investigators, and clinical sites worldwide; shaping site network strategies to support clinical development, scalable delivery, and future commercialization of cell therapies; and enhancing site access by addressing operational barriers. The role involves leading site segmentation, archetyping, and network development, as well as supporting Neurology product launch readiness and commercial strategies. It requires translating scientific and clinical expertise into partnership and site-network strategies, ensuring operational and regulatory compliance, and representing AstraZeneca at industry forums. Key collaborations span Clinical Development, Medical, Commercial, Manufacturing, and External Alliances, with a focus on neurology indications such as CAR-T therapies. Qualifications include MD, PhD, or dual MD/PhD with at least 5 years of relevant experience, deep clinical trial and development expertise in neurology and cell therapies, and proven success in external partnership management within regulated environments. The role demands strong strategic, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with willingness to travel over 50% domestically and internationally. Preferred experience includes neurology specialty practice, clinical trial leadership, and network development across academic and community settings.
