Senior Director, Business Operations

Role: Senior leader serving as strategic and operational partner to the VP of Development Sciences, overseeing business operations, governance, and organizational effectiveness across global R&D functions. Responsibilities: advise on priorities and strategy translation into operating plans; shape leadership communications; facilitate leadership-team effectiveness and culture; lead financial planning, resource management, and compliance; drive continuous organizational improvements; build cross-functional collaborations; and manage site operations in Ludwigshafen. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in science, business, or related field; 15+ years in pharma or biotech with experience in strategic planning, organizational leadership, and business operations; strong financial, governance, and change management skills; excellent communication and leadership abilities. Preferred: advanced degree; prior support of senior R&D executives; knowledge of drug development and regulated environments.
