Position Overview
Senior Director β Business Insights & Analytics, Business Integration lead for an analytics team supporting an assigned business area. Focus on measurement, intelligence, and AI-enabled product development.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and scale analytics data products for business unit/therapeutic area/affiliate.
- Train and upskill the organization on measurement frameworks and analytics best practices.
- Champion Agentic AI transformation for business analytics.
- Manage relationships with internal partners and (as needed) external agencies/vendors/data partners.
- Scale and automate data products for measurement and reporting.
- Develop measurement thought leadership in ambiguous, evolving contexts.
- Partner with data engineering/science to accelerate intelligence tools (e.g., Databricks).
- Lead end-to-end analytics learning agenda (analysis, reporting, insights, recommendations).
- Define analytics roadmap and sprint plans via agile process tied to critical metrics.
- Apply agile delivery methodologies (e.g., Jira, SAFe) to improve prioritization and focus.
- Develop and track success metrics (business outcomes, decision influence, adoption, stakeholder impact).
- Ensure privacy/legal compliance (including third-party/data use agreements).
- Provide direction on business rules for analyses.
- Triage requests (internal capacity vs. external vendor) and match capacity to capability.
- Partner across geographies (including Lilly Bangalore) toward shared deliverables.
- Provide leadership, technical guidance, developmental support, and career planning.

- Navigate matrix organizations; operate comfortably in ambiguity.
- Hands-on LLM prompt design; understand AI model behavior/capabilities/limitations.
- Facilitate agile cadence and manage backlog/release planning; remove blockers.
- Communicate and tell stories with business partners; build cross-functional/geographic relationships.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorβs degree.
- Minimum 8 years analytical experience.
- Authorized to work in the US full-time; no visa/work authorization sponsorship.
Additional Preferences
- Advanced degree + 3+ years relevant experience.
- Experience with advanced analytics (AI/ML/NLP/predictive analytics), enterprise technical team management, third-party data, and specialty market/global pharma analytics.
- Proficiency in Excel/Word/PowerPoint and AI productivity tools; apply CPP/GPP and related promotional laws.
