Role Summary

The Senior Director, Brand Lead for Varegacestat leads US launch efforts across HCP and patient channels, defining and executing the brand strategy for an oncology therapy in desmoid tumors, and driving cross-functional launch readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Varegacestat Go-to-Market Strategy: develop brand strategy and scientific narrative grounded in clinical differentiation and pharmacologic profile from the RINGSIDE trial; shape brand positioning; design engagement strategies with academic and clinical stakeholders; create annual brand strategic and tactical plans.
  • Lead HCP and Patient Promotional Education Efforts to Drive Best-in-Class Launch: design and execute medical and promotional education for HCPs; manage marketing mix investments across commercial verticals; enhance visibility at major oncology congresses; collaborate with medical affairs, clinical development, legal, and regulatory to ensure scientifically accurate communications compliant with FDA OPDP regulations.
  • Drive an Agile and High Performing Brand Team: select and manage creative and media agency partners; support efficient MLR processes and Veeva Vault execution; represent commercial in cross-functional governance; partner with finance and analytics to maximize brand value and provide updates; offer strategic insights to executive leadership through analyses and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in US and Global marketing in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with demonstrated expertise in brand strategy or lifecycle management; Oncology experience is required.
  • Advanced medical degree preferred (MD, DO, PharmD). MBA preferred.
  • Oncology sales experience preferred.
  • Technical and functional expertise in HCP channel marketing across personal, digital, peer-to-peer, and omnichannel.
  • Strong knowledge of US FDA and other regulatory frameworks and medical–legal–regulatory review processes.

Knowledge And Skills

  • Pharmacology expertise, ability to interpret clinical data, and communicate therapeutically to healthcare professionals.
  • Experience executing a US Oncology drug launch focusing on HCP and patient education.
  • Ability to identify customer needs and translate insights into strategies and tactics.
  • Proven success developing and measuring complex marketing programs and driving innovative solutions.
  • Experience leading commercial assessments and investment decisions.
  • Strong cross-functional teamwork and leadership; ability to influence without authority.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication across diverse audiences.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with an agile, growth-oriented mindset.

Education

  • Advanced medical degree preferred; MBA preferred.
