Job Description

Your mission is to provide expert strategic and statistical leadership for Bicycle's clinical development portfolio, leading a team of biostatisticians to shape study designs, guide program strategy, ensure clinical data integrity, and translate complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor biostatisticians; foster high performance and psychological safety.
- Set biostatistics goals and priorities aligned with departmental and organizational objectives.
- Serve as program-level biostatistical lead for key development assets; shape the clinical development plan.
- Collaborate with Medical, Clinical Research, and Regulatory Affairs to support data-driven clinical decisions.
- Represent Biostatistics in regulatory interactions; provide statistical expertise for meetings and author regulatory document sections.
- Provide senior oversight for study-level biostatistical activities (including vendors) for quality and timeliness.
- Apply advanced statistical methods (e.g., modeling and simulation) for study design, analysis, and interpretation.
- Review and approve key statistical documents (protocols, Statistical Analysis Plans) for fitness for purpose.

Qualifications / Skills
- Senior biostatistics leadership experience in biopharma, with deep focus on oncology clinical trials.
- Proven people management experience leading high-performing technical teams.
- Ability to develop and execute statistical strategy and translate complex data into impactful insights.
- Expert knowledge of advanced statistical methods and GCP/regulatory guidelines across all clinical development phases.
- Proficiency with R and/or SAS; strong understanding of simulation and modeling.

Compensation
- Salary range: $235,000–$295,000.
