Role: Senior Director of Bioinformatics leading strategic and operational efforts in genomic, proteomic, and other multiomics data analysis to support Summitβs oncology pipeline. Responsibilities: oversee biomarker discovery, patient stratification, mechanism of response, resistance, and companion diagnostic development; develop and execute computational strategies across discovery, translational, and clinical stages; lead integration of complex datasets (WES, WGS, RNA-seq, single-cell, spatial transcriptomics, proteomics, ctDNA, digital pathology); drive AI/ML applications for predictive modeling; establish best practices for data governance and infrastructure; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners; support regulatory submissions and operational excellence. Qualifications: PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or related field; 15+ years in biotech/pharma, with oncology experience preferred; expertise in NGS pipelines, multiomics integration, statistical genomics, single-cell/spatial analysis, ML, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); proficient in R, Python, data visualization; supported biomarker strategies and regulatory submissions. Preferred: oncology drug development, companion diagnostics, AI-powered pathology, publications, and cross-functional team experience.
