Role Summary
The ATTR Global Brand Lead is a high-impact, strategic leadership role at Intellia, responsible for shaping and driving the global brand strategy for nexiguran ziclumeran (nex-z)—currently in late-stage clinical development. This role will lead the development of the global commercial strategy, brand planning, execution, and launch readiness to ensure successful commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the global commercial strategy for the assigned brand in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Design and execute market development strategies, partnering with external agencies, external partners and internal stakeholders to build awareness and readiness.
- Actively contribute to Intellia’s broader commercialization efforts as a core member of the Commercial Leadership Team.
- Represent the commercial function on the Program Leadership Team—the highest cross-functional governance body overseeing clinical development and program execution.
- Deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership through market analysis, research, and competitive intelligence.
- Own all aspects of global brand development, including product naming, creative campaigns, and identity building.
- Partner with insights and analytics to generate actionable insights that inform strategy, expectations setting and successful commercialization.
- Work seamlessly across Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, Finance and IT to ensure alignment and execution.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, external partners and consultants.
- Oversee the annual brand budget, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing brand team, attracting top industry talent.
- Take on other responsibilities as needed to support brand and organizational success.

- Proven track record of introducing novel, impactful approaches that challenge convention and accelerate the delivery of innovative therapies to patients.
- Proven track record of successfully partnering cross functionally to build and lead the establishment of a new function and organizational capabilities.
- Management and oversight of functional budget and resourcing.
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience across various commercial roles
- Deep understanding of global and US commercialization aspects within the pharmaceutical industry.
- At least 3 years of people management experience, leading high-performance teams.
- Experience in pre-launch and launch of products for rare diseases or gene therapies with highly competitive intensity.
- Desired experience working in commercialization collaborations including co-promotion.
