Senior Director, Analytical Development & Quality Control

Role: Senior Director, Analytical Development and Quality Control, providing strategic and technical leadership for analytical development and QC from discovery through commercialization in biopharma, supporting rare neuroendocrine disease therapies. Responsibilities: define and execute analytical strategies, oversee method development, validation, transfer, and lifecycle management; lead product characterization, impurity profiling, and stability programs; ensure GMP compliance and data integrity for regulatory submissions; manage external partners (CDMOs, CROs) and oversee regulatory interactions. Qualifications: PhD or MS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field; 12+ years in analytical development within pharma/biotech, with leadership experience supporting small molecules or peptides across the development lifecycle. High-Value: expertise in chromatography, mass spectrometry, control strategies, stability and impurity analysis; supporting global regulatory filings (IND, NDA, MAA); experience managing internal teams and external vendors in a regulated environment. Work setup: hybrid in Boston, with some travel.
