Senior Director, AI Solutions Architecture

Role: Senior Director, AI Solution Architecture at Amgen, responsible for defining and leading enterprise AI strategy to develop scalable AI products, platforms, and capabilities aligned with R&D, Operations, and Commercial needs. Responsibilities include co-creating high-impact AI solutions with cross-functional stakeholders, translating complex business opportunities into feasible, governed AI architectures, and establishing standards for AI solution delivery. The role involves partnering with senior leaders across AI, data, technology, and regulatory domains to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and deliver measurable ROI, while managing a high-performing architecture team. Qualifications: Doctorate with 4+ years or Master’s with 6+ years, or Bachelor’s with 8+ years in AI, machine learning, data science, or related fields, with 4+ years managing technical teams. Preferred: 12+ years in AI/ML, enterprise architecture, or product management, with proven experience leading enterprise AI solutions that impact business value, deep technical expertise in modern AI/ML methods, cloud architecture, MLOps, and familiarity with responsible AI, privacy, and regulatory considerations in biotech or healthcare contexts. The role requires strategic thinking, technical credibility, strong stakeholder influence, and effective communication across technical and business audiences. Location can be onsite, hybrid, or remote, with no specified travel requirements.
