Role Summary
Senior Director, Access Strategy for Dupixent Rhinology-Gastroenterology and Allergy (RGA). Responsible for integrating all elements of access strategy, including pricing/contracting, GTN management, channel strategy, patient copay and related services, to ensure formulary access and financial objectives are met. Leads development and implementation of value propositions, lifecycle management, and ensures teams are trained on current strategies. Oversees payer channel performance and cross-functional collaboration to achieve profitable access.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the General Manager and senior leadership to set strategic direction for market access, pricing, channel strategy, and reimbursement.
- Develop and execute an evidence-based market access strategy that maximizes payer adoption and patient access.
- Lead creation of value propositions demonstrating economic and clinical benefits to payers, providers, and stakeholders.
- Develop and communicate market access strategies and plans, articulating the brand value story and integrating into the overall brand plan.
- Plan and manage the Dupixent payer brand budget.
- Partner with HEVA and inform real-world evidence generation; ensure health economic activities meet payer needs.
- Anticipate and adapt to changes in regulatory and reimbursement landscapes, ensuring compliance and sustained market access.
- Identify gaps in market access understanding and develop plans to gain direct payer insights; manage primary research projects as needed.
- Lead pull-through opportunities and execution of pull-through strategy for all channels and geographies based on formulary position.
- Provide strategic and executional support for product/indication launches, including market research, pricing strategy, contracting, and messaging.
- Lead cross-functional strategic projects to partner with large group practices.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorโs degree; advanced degree (MBA, M.S., PharmD, PhD) preferred.
- Required: 10+ years in market access strategy, account management, payer marketing, contracting, pricing; 7 years in a leadership role.
- Required: Proven track record managing teams and leading strategic initiatives across complex therapeutic areas in the access/payer landscape.
- Required: Solid understanding of strategic pricing and commercial contracting strategy, processes, and rules.
- Required: Strong strategic thinking and analytical mindset focused on market access, financial optimization, and risk management.
- Required: Strong leadership skills to build, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Required: Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence and negotiate with senior executives, payers, and external stakeholders.
- Required: High business acumen balancing strategic objectives with financial imperatives; ability to navigate highly regulated environments and manage multiple priorities.
- Required: Demonstrated analytical and financial skillsets; ability to balance brand and access objectives when in conflict.
