Role Summary
Senior Data Scientist responsible for developing data science solutions and ML models to optimize omnichannel strategies, measure CX enablement, and derive insights from large-scale data to improve patient engagement. You will prototype and deploy predictive models and architect frameworks for Next Best Action and other recommender systems, leveraging ML, Deep Learning, NLP, Spark, Python, and AWS.
Responsibilities
- Leading development of data science prototypes, ML models, and proofs of concept for testing omnichannel strategies
- Leading measurement and tracking of omnichannel CX enablement initiatives
- Extracting, cleaning, pre-processing, and analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to uncover insights that drive engagement and key metrics
- Crafting and deploying a framework to supervise the performance of campaigns and tactics at a granular level
- Developing, prototyping, and deploying predictive models using ML, deep learning, and Generative AI NLP techniques; architecting data science frameworks for use cases such as Next Best Action recommendations and other recommender systems to optimize omnichannel strategies
- Measuring the impact of cross-channel campaigns and the overall omnichannel program
- Identifying business needs and proposing analytics approaches for solutions
- Communicating analysis ideas, progress, and results to leadership and business partners regarding omnichannel initiatives
- Utilizing big data frameworks like Spark, SQL, and Python for distributed computing and scalable data processing
- Working on large-scale data architectures and leveraging AWS cloud platforms to build ETL pipelines for data science experiments; May telecommute
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience involving:
- Campaign measurement, marketing analytics and resource optimization
- Programming experience with Python, R, or SAS
- Working with large datasets
- Distributed computing tools including Spark
- Data science relating to biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
- Data wrangling and analysis using Python, R, or SQL
Education
- Master's degree in Information Systems, Data Science or related field
