Senior Data Engineer

Role: Senior Data Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's data and analytics infrastructure to support enterprise decision-making. Key responsibilities include building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and Azure Data Factory, managing data security and access, monitoring data processes, and collaborating with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions. The role also entails providing technical guidance, troubleshooting, implementing data management best practices, and contributing to BI/analytics platforms. Requirements: 5+ years in building critical EDW and pipelines, 3+ years in data architecture and SaaS integrations (e.g., Salesforce), strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and Python, plus understanding of data warehousing. Preferred: extensive cloud platform expertise, advanced programming skills, and experience with complex data platforms. High-Value: focus on cloud-based data engineering for biopharma applications, supporting research and development efforts with a hybrid role based in RTP, NC, requiring onsite presence three days per week.
