Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical vision and hands-on expertise to execute platform solutions.
- Manage cloud computing infrastructure, including scale, performance, and cost.
- Gather technical requirements, validate architecture, and create/review designs.
- Coordinate efforts across data engineering, data curation, and platform engineering teams to successful completion.
- Guide engineering resources toward code standards and templates as part of data frameworks and patterns.
- Demonstrate ownership of technical stacks for individual cloud applications.
- Align with systems lifecycle standards and processes.
- Manage time and deliver results across multiple workstreams.
- Work with team members globally (onsite, offshore).
- Onsite position; 2 days/week WFH eligible.
Qualifications:
- Education & Experience: Bachelorโs degree in Computer Engineering/Applications and 12 years of IT experience. Alternatively, Masterโs degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering/Applications and 8 years of IT experience.
- Required (8 years): Hands-on proficiency in Python, Apache, Spark, and SQL; AWS development using EC2, Glue, Spark, S3, Redshift, and Athena; relational and non-relational databases; building data engineering pipelines using Apache Airflow and GlueETL; API architecture development; metadata management, data quality, master data, and data lineage.
- Required (3 years): Technical Project Owner and Team Lead experience.
