Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Secrets Discovery (Remote)

Role Summary

Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join the Cyber Threat Intelligence team. Focus on designing, building, and automating the secrets discovery program; leverage software development, cyber intel/response, and data analytics to discover, analyze, validate, and escalate exposed secrets internally and externally. Develop custom apps to manage the secrets discovery lifecycle and collaborate across security and technology teams to provide timely intelligence. This position can be remote anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and automate components of the secrets discovery program.
• Leverage software development, cyber intelligence/response, and data analytics to discover, analyze, validate, and escalate exposed secrets.
• Develop custom applications to manage the secrets discovery lifecycle.
• Collaborate on multiple cyber intelligence initiatives and partner with stakeholders across security and technology teams to support sound decision-making by providing accurate and timely intelligence.

Qualifications

• Experience identifying internal and external secrets utilizing discovery tooling.
• Development with Python, Go, Elixir, or other similar languages.
• Both invoking and building custom APIs.
• Curating intelligence sources.
• Leveraging open source intelligence.
• Analysis of large data sets and using data to support decision-making.
• Understanding of the anatomy of cyber security incidents.
• Current methodologies supporting secrets discovery.
• Experience building and implementing apps in a production-like environment.

Education

• Bachelors Degree and 7 years experience OR Masters Degree and 6 years of experience OR PhD and 2 years of experience.

Skills

• Cybersecurity principles related to authentication and network/application security (beneficial).
• Strong written and oral communication skills and experience communicating at different organizational levels.
• Ability to work across cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives.
