Role Summary
The Senior Customer Engagement Manager (Sr. CEM) helps build partnerships with national and regional thought leaders to develop patient advocacy, optimize educational exchange, and interpret/share market insights to advance brand strategy in Epilepsy and Movement Disorders. This field-based role reports to the Sr. Director, Customer Engagement and collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Market Access, and Long-Term Care. Travel up to 75% may be required.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and connect scientific thought leaders to advance the epilepsy treatment paradigm.
- Drive cross-functional coordination to align resources and remove barriers for KOL loyalty and product adoption.
- Track and manage budgets for areas of responsibility.
- Map regional influence networks and connect brand champions with up-and-coming thought leaders and new physicians.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelorβs degree; Advanced degree in business or science preferred. English required; other languages a plus.
- Required: Minimum 8 years in field sales, product marketing, or medical/clinical roles in pharma/healthcare; at least 3 years in a sales management or marketing role.
- Preferred: Experience in Neurology/Epilepsy and specialty pharmaceuticals; experience with institutional sales or large accounts; experience launching products or services; scientific/clinical background.
- Required: Track record in influencing without authority; strong understanding of reimbursement environments and Medicare-related challenges; knowledge of HIPAA and patient-focused advocacy.
- Preferred: Experience in affiliate commercial operations; knowledge of data sources and tools for account planning; intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree required; Advanced degree in business or science preferred.
