Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive, practical, solution-oriented legal advice to structure, operationalize, and communicate BMSโs market access strategy.
- Serve as primary legal point for MAx Access Strategy and select Access Field teams, including advice on patient support program materials.
- Advise on 340B program operations.
- Collaborate across relevant law teams to deliver comprehensive legal advice.
- Use knowledge of emerging legal/industry issues to inform advice and mitigate legal risk.
- Anticipate and identify legal issues using an enterprise view and provide clear legal guidance.
- Deliver presentations to Law Department/MAx Department.
- Lead/organize working groups assessing significant legal issues.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited US law school.
- 10+ yearsโ legal experience advising the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry on legal, regulatory and/or compliance; cross-functional experience required.
- Preferred: experience in US market access, patient support programs, sales or marketing.
- Healthcare law experience including advertising/promotion, anti-kickback/bribery, regulatory policy, and contracts.
- Strong relationship-building, integrity/ethics, and ability to communicate clearly.
- Preferred: knowledge of US drug pricing laws and the 340B program.
