Position Summary
The Senior Counsel, Global Supply Chain & Trade serves as the lead legal advisor to the Global Supply Chain organization (including Customs & Trade). The role joins the GSC leadership team, directly supporting the SVP, Global Supply Chain, and provides regulatory, strategic, and transactional support.

Responsibilities
- Serve as lead legal advisor to the SVP of Global Supply Chain, advising on complex supply issues across clinical and commercial networks to enable urgent delivery of medicines to patients.
- Serve as lead legal advisor on all trade issues, including licensing, import/export laws, tariffs, sanctions, and similar trade regulations.
- Collaborate with Law & Policy Department colleagues to provide seamless, enterprise-aligned legal support for complex supply, logistics, and transportation transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex supply chain agreements.
- Monitor evolving global regulations and enforcement trends affecting supply chain operations and trade; proactively advise leadership on business impact and risk mitigation.

Qualifications
- Legal degree with 12+ years of pharmaceutical legal experience (law firm, in-house, and/or government experience helpful). Supply and Trade experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to build relationships and advise/influence senior executives (SVP/C-suite) on high-impact legal and regulatory matters.
- Proven ability to identify and lead senior stakeholders to implement innovative solutions that reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve legal risk management.
- Experience with complex transactions.
- Ability to lead across large, global matrix organizations and influence across multiple functions.
- Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Flexibility to work with speed and quality on a broad range of matters.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex issues verbally and in writing to senior leaders.
- Excellent judgment, time management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
- Starting compensation range: $221,340–$268,212 (Madison-Giralda NJ; Princeton NJ).
